For the past 4 years, I’ve worked on audience growth initiatives for podcasts, developing audiences organically by leveraging partnerships and podcast platforms. First at LA Times, then NBC Entertainment, and now at Stitcher.

At LA Times my work largely focused on identifying key marketing channels within the organization, building partnerships and working closely with creative to tell a cohesive story that resonated with readers enough to convert them to loyal listeners on whatever platform they preferred.

At NBC I powered up what I knew about podcast platform partnerships and leveraged them to grow their slate of entertainment podcasts, developing turnkey ways to promote them across departments in its large organization.

At Stitcher I got into the weeds on understanding what drives business at podcast platforms, from app growth, retention, events, subscriptions and content development - completely understanding the full lifecycle of a listener and its contribution to the bottom line.

Prior to these experiences, I served as a product marketer for news products (2014-2017), ecommerce copywriter and social media manager (2011-2014), and a food and music multimedia journalist (2009-2011).
